Amy McIntosh,
M.S., M.Ed., LPC (MN), LAPC (ND)

Finding the best therapist for you is so important; I’m so glad you are here!

I grew up in the Fargo area and deeply understand the struggle to live as your authentic self in this area when you don’t feel accepted by others. I lived in the Pacific Northwest for nearly 20 years and worked with differently abled, elderly, at-risk youth, college students, educators, BIPOC, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community in various professional capacities. My goal is to provide a safe space for every human, period!

I am down to earth and I enjoy laughter, coffee, sunshine, water, yoga, animals, spoken word, writing, music, and movies. I love my profession and feel truly in awe of my clients’ perseverance, every day.

Biography

I currently offer Telehealth for individuals living in ND and MN who are 18 years or older. I am happy to schedule a free 20-minute consultation to determine if we are a good fit. I look forward to meeting you soon!

A message from Amy:

It is my firm belief that there is nothing wrong with you, instead I’d ask you: what has happened to you? Many of our struggles in this life are due to circumstances out of our control. In our work together, I hope to support you in seeing how many gifts you have, and how you can wake up feeling joy, peace, and genuine appreciation for yourself and those around you.

I love that I can connect with my therapist online and I don’t have to go anywhere. I can do it from home! And my therapist has helped me and is helping me be the best me I can be so I’m so happy I connected with her and am becoming someone I am proud of!
