Kristen takes a person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused approach, weaving in expressive arts, mindfulness, and body-mind connection. Her work is grounded in feminist theory and human rights advocacy. Kristen support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, neurodivergence, ADHD, life transitions, family of origin concerns, always honoring the mind-body connection. With a background as a birth doula and positive parenting educator, Kristen is especially passionate about uplifting mothers, children, and families, knowing that strong relationships create stronger communities. Kristen believes in the power of connection, positive habits, and a holistic approach to foster healing and growth.

Kristen earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a minor in Art Therapy, and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She is currently a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in North Dakota. Kristen is an artist, advocate, and ally with a heart for creativity, connection, and healing. With a background in therapeutic art, positive parenting support, and trauma-informed care, she brings warmth, humor, and a holistic perspective to her work. Through conversation and creative approaches, Kristen believes in making therapy a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered for self-directed change.
