Grace is a graduate student at Minnesota State University Moorhead working towards her master’s in clinical mental health counseling. She loves to bring creativity into every aspect of life. Working with individuals of all backgrounds is something Grace is very passionate about as she loves to learn as much as she can about different cultures, backgrounds, and an individual needs.
For many years Grace has had different positions working with in schools. She has worked with children in all grade levels who have had different needs. Grace has experience working with kids with autism, down syndrome, attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and developmental delays.

Counseling Approach and Clinical Focus:
Grace utilizes various techniques from theories such as Person-Centered, Gestalt, and Adlerian. Her goal is to help clients feel supported and safe when exploring their emotions. She hopes that clients leave sessions feeling more grounded and empowered.

Self-care is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Taking care of yourself is not selfish and rather helps you to be the best version of yourself possible. Everyone deserves to feel taken care of and seen.
