Counseling Approach and Clinical Focus:

Heidi uses a variety of evidenced-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory to assist her clients in living a life most authentic to themselves.

Heidi’s clinical area of focus is couples counseling and relationship concerns. She has completed both Level 1 and Level 2 Trainings of the Gottman Method, and she primarily uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work with couples. Heidi also has clinical experience and training in trauma-informed care, anxiety, life transitions, grief, and substance related issues among adolescents, young adults, and adults.
