Biography

Counseling Approach and Clinical Focus:

Lexi takes a relational, person-centered, trauma-informed approach when working with clients. Lexi draws from her various trainings in play therapy modalities, such as child-centered and somatic experiential, to support young clients in telling their stories and moving towards healing. Lexi utilized strengths-based and cognitive behavioral modalities to promote growth when not engaging in play-based techniques. Lexi specializes in working with children and adolescents. Lexi also has experience with supporting parents as they navigate complex emotional and behavioral-related concerns.

A message from Lexi:

The path to growth and healing is not linear. It is often messy and challenging, whether you’re a child or an adult. Being the person to witness, be present, and support healing is one of the greatest honors I will ever have.
