Melissa Pachak,
Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern

Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North Dakota State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also holds certifications in wellness coaching from the Mayo Clinic, holistic nutrition from Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition, and 200-hour yoga teacher training.
With over 12 years of experience in holistic wellness—including childbirth education, doula work, and integrative mind-body practices—Melissa brings a deeply grounded and inclusive perspective to her work in the counseling field.
Biography
Counseling Approach and Clinical Focus:
Melissa is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion and authenticity. She integrates person-centered and strengths-based strategies with a mind-body approach, creating a grounded, inclusive space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their personal growth.
She is passionate about working with individuals navigating life transitions, stress, identity, burnout, grief, and personal growth, and she strives to help clients move forward with clarity and confidence. Her clinical work is informed by a deep belief in the body’s innate wisdom and a commitment to fostering a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s lived experience.

I believe in the power of feeling truly heard, valued, and supported—especially during life’s most overwhelming or uncertain seasons. My goal is to offer you a space where you can show up exactly as you are, reconnect with your strengths, and move forward with greater self-awareness and resilience.

Melissa is the founder and executive director of FM Wellness Collective, a nonprofit organization committed to transforming how the Fargo-Moorhead community experiences wellness through impactful community events, wellness education, and enhancing the culture of well-being. Through this work, she brings together diverse practitioners to host events and initiatives that promote healing, education, and authentic connection.
